HALLOWEEN 2010: WIZARD OF OZ

Halloween this year was on Sunday, but around here it was recognized on Saturday.  On Friday, Caroline and Carter dressed up for their school parties, so they got to be in character twice!!  Our theme stemmed from me wanting Carter to wear Caroline's scarecrow outfit from 2 years ago.  Nanno made it and it has to be one of the cutest costumes I have ever seen!!!  From there, we decided Caroline would be Dorothy.  Nanno made her dress and we found some sparkly red shoes.   Were they ever cute!!!!!!!!!!!  We went to Trunk or Treat at Choctaw Baptist Church and then on to Jones for some trick or treating.  We had so much fun and it was a beautiful evening.  Here are the pictures..................

PUMPKIN CARVING IN THE PAST

Here are some pictures of the past 2 years of pumpkin carving.  Fall 2008 was my first time to ever carve a pumpkin.  Now it's been 3 years and counting!!  Looks like this is a family tradition.

This was our 3rd annual pumpkin carving.  Up until 2 years ago I had never carved a pumpkin.  Thank you Jeremiah for introducing a fun and memorable family tradition!!!!

 

 

 

CATCHING UP WITH MIMSY'S VISIT

Here are some pictures of Mimsy's last day.  She left her at noon on a Sunday and got home around 6:30 on Monday evening.  She is amazing.  There is no way I could have made that drive by myself.  We sure miss having her here!!!

We spent the morning dancing in the kitchen and packing.
