JULY 23-29

Last week was a rough week because on Wednesday, Jeremiah and I had to go back to work.  We have been going to bed late and waking up late all summer, so we were pretty tired and still are!!  On Monday, we decided to squeeze in an afternoon of swimming.  Then we headed to Target to get Caroline's school supplies.  She was so excited even though Carter looks much more excited than she does. 

 

 

Carter got to go with Jeremiah early Tuesday morning to get the oil change and have breakfast.  I love this picture of him..............

Then we headed to my doctor's appointment.  Here is Carter talking about the highway.  He loves  being on the highway!! 


On Wednesday, we went back to work.  Carter was so excited to wear his backpack to school.  He wasn't so excited when I dropped him off though.  Caroline got to spend the rest of the week at Addison's.  NO DAYCARE FOR CAROLINE!!

On Friday night we watched the opening ceremonies and took it easy most of the weekend.  We were tired and it was too hot to do much.  On a sad note, Isabell passed away.  What a sweet lady.  She will be missed but is no longer in pain.  Bless Janette and her sisters for taking such good care of her!!

JULY SO FAR.............

We had a fun June, so far July has been really good too.  Here are the highlights.  I can't believe we have to go back to work soon!! 

Caroline has enjoyed dressing up Carter.  She was on a kick for a few days where she dressed him up like a baby.  Too funny!

Playdates with Abby.  Carter enjoys her too. 

Carter is really into wearing band-aids and stickers. 

 

 

4th of July church service was pretty amazing.  Especially the patriotic music.

We went for cupcakes after to give Daddy some study time.

Carter got a big boy bed.  Now we need to re-decorate.  I'm thinking a vintage football theme.

Just woke up and pushing around his truck!!

4th of July......... On the 3rd, we went to eat at Hideaway Pizza and then camped out in the back of the van with some snacks and watched fireworks at the fairgrounds.  On the night of the 4th we hung out with Papa at his house.

I've had a yucky cough lately and Carter takes care of me by giving me cough drops all the time.  (sometimes even two at once)

We are soooo proud of Daddy for finishing his Master's this summer.  Here are Daddy and Carter celebrating. 

FATHER'S DAY 2012

We had a good day today.  We are so proud of our Daddy.  He is almost finished with his Master's degree in only one year and just passed his administrator test on the first try.  Not very many are able to do this.  He has picked up golf this year which is very evident in Caroline's answers below (Below the pictures).  We're also proud of Papa.  He's been very supportive of Nanno in this rough time for her.  She's been gone a lot staying with her sweet mom and I can tell he misses her. 
We woke up late and missed church.  Oops!  Then we headed to the Classen Grill for breakfast with Nanno and Papa.  We listened to Genesis on the way in honor of Papa Ed.  While at breakfast I read to Papa and Jeremiah what Caroline said about them.  It was sweet and funny.  Then we went to Golf Galaxy to get Jeremiah a shirt and Caroline a visor.  When we got home, Jeremiah and Caroline went golfing and Carter and I stayed home to "rest".  Now we're watching the Thunder play.  Here are our annual DAD pictures..............
