BARNES AND NOBLE

One of the things I've missed about my "old" life (before kids) was going to Barnes and Noble.  Something about that place calms me if I'm anxious or stressed and makes me happy if I'm sad.  I'm rarely sad anymore, so now it just makes me happier when I'm happy!!  A few weeks ago, I decided to give it a try with Caroline.  She loved it.  We were there 2 hours and probably could have stayed another 3.  We looked at books, had snacks, and looked at more books.  We are going back today.  Yay!!!
When we first got there, I was checking messages on my phone and she opened the sunroof and started talking to everyone in the parking lot.
Wow.  Look at our snack.  That's a red velvet cupcake...............my favorite.
Sorry about this one.  She wanted to take one of me.
I was soooooooooooo excited to see this.  I had to take a picture and text it to Kelli.  It brought back so many memories.
Oops.  I tried a little too hard to get a book that was too high for me.  Caroline was speechless!!  That sure doesn't happen very often.

Love this girl!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Happy Birthday to my blog.  haha!!  It has been one year since I started it and I've actually stuck with it and will continue to do so.  The "blogging world" is pretty amazing.  I feel like I have made friends out there.  I've laughed and cried with some of them even though I've never met them.  There are some incredible stories and people out there that I would have never known about if it had not been for blogging, but most of all I have so many memories to look back on of my sweet babies, family, and friends.  I will give it an update in the next week or so after I finish getting caught up with all my past posts.

PREPPING FOR CHRISTMAS

Getting ready for Christmas was so much fun this year.  I can only imagine it's going to get more fun and exciting every year.  These two are into EVERYTHING, so anytime I baked cookies or candy or even dinner, I had to pay for it later in some way.  You'll see what I mean when you see some of the pictures.  I just love these babies to death!!!
I LOVE WATCHING THESE TWO SIT AT THE TABLE TOGETHER........ SO CUTE!!!

THEY REALLY ENJOYED MY MAPLE SNICKERDOODLES...................
DOESN'T GET MUCH BETTER........... EATING COOKIES IN FRONT OF THE FIRE.

HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED WHILE I MADE THE COOKIES...........................
CARTER STARTED THIS.  HE STACKED ALL THE ICING TUBS.  NOW I'M ASKING MYSELF.............WHY DO I HAVE SO MUCH ICING????
HOW SWEET......... SHE'S GIVING HIM FRUIT SNACKS. (even though I think they went through about 5 packages each!!)
THIS MAKES MY HEART MELT!!!
HE LOVES WATCHING HER.
I know you must think, well no wonder he's watching her...........Look at her face.  Haha!!  Ever since Carter had freckles for Halloween, Caroline sporatically requests to have some put on hers.  This was one of those occasions.

Ok.  I don't even know how this happened.  See below...............

GOT TO LOVE THE BARBIE SNACKS NEXT TO HIM.
Haha.  What am I going to do with these 2.  Caroline was bad enough (even though they're so funny and creative) with the messes.  Now they are a team.

CHRISTMAS COOKIES WITH NANNO

Nanno hosted her annual Christmas cookie party.  Caroline has so much fun and I love that she's old enough to be included and experience this tradition.  They make them from scratch.......... from rolling the dough, cutting them out, baking them, decorating them, and then bringing them home for Santa.  It was her idea to bring her apron.  She was so proud of them!!
Kaelyn getting ready..........
This is what it looked like when I left.

PLAYDATES WITH CHANDLER

Caroline just loves Chandler.  I love her mom's company too.  Sheree and I are so much alike in a lot of ways.  (Except she's much younger and so pretty!!)  Chandler and Caroline could pass for sisters with their blonde hair and blue eyes.  They are funny together because they both have such strong personalities.  They argue, then make-up, then argue, then make-up.  There is one year's difference between them.  They live just a short walk away and it's been so fun getting know them!!!

PLAYDATE #1.......................RAPUNZEL
When we had this playdate in December, Chandler had just gotten this life sized Rapunzel doll.  I guess she takes it everywhere.  Sheree said it's a good thing it's not summer or welfare would have been called on her by now for having what looks like a child locked in a car.  Too funny!!  So, Rapunzel got to spend a few hours with us.
Chandler got to dress like Rapunzel in Caroline's dress.
They are both dressed like their dolls!!
How cute!!
Caroline decided that she wanted to read Chandler and Rapunzel some bible stories.
I think Chandler is more interested in the Hello Kitty.
Chandler got tired of me taking pictures.  Can you tell???  Haha!!
They had fun playing up on Caroline's bed until Rapunzel "hit" Caroline.
Oh Rapunzel......................

PLAYDATE #2.........................OU FOOTBALL
Landon, Sheree, Chandler, and Wyatt come over to watch the OU game with us.  Carter loved baby Wyatt and gave him his chicken nuggets even though Wyatt is only old enough for baby food.  Too bad I didn't get pictures of that.  Caroline had to have braids like Chandler's.  Aren't they cute!!!  When Sheree and I went in to check on the girls, we pulled back the covers and found tons of toys.  Those sneaky little things.......... I didn't even see them carrying them all into my bedroom.  Haha!!  We had a fun evening even though we missed Rapunzel.

PLAYING WITH ADDISON....

Caroline loves to play with Addison.  They really get along great.  These two would spend days together if Kathy and I let them.  This playdate was supposed to be a couple of hours where Caroline played at Addison's while I went to the store.  When I went to pick her up, they talked me into having her stay the night.  When I picked Caroline up the next morning, Addison came home with us and stayed until that evening.  They only had a couple of arguements toward the end of the night.  We played hard, watched Tinkerbell, and had some cookies.  Since then, Kathy had Caroline spend the night so I could work on my National Board stuff.  She knows how much work it is because she went through it 2 years ago.  Here are the pics...................
Carter sure enjoyed Addison!!
Oops....  Somebody is jealous!!
Addison gave him back.
Ummmm.......  Maple snickerdoodles and milk!!
Awww........... the boys had to sit at the kid's table.
Watching Tinkerbell.
